But also… there’s just something afoot.
Something happening…
with women entrepreneurs,
who are refusing to settle,
but also refusing to “suit up” and put on a mask in order to succeed.
There’s a growing TRIBE of DRIVEN women
who are standing up, standing out and REFUSING to accept less than what their SOUL knows they were born for.

And so, naturally,
they are finding Women Who WOW….
THE place for them.

Naturally, they “somehow” find my page,
naturally, they say I just “showed up on their feed”
naturally, they find their way here,
where their drive, their heart, their purpose, their WEIRDNESS, their stubbornness…
is not just “accepted,”
but applauded.

The more defiant they become about their goals,
and about being EVER MORE FULLY themselves
as they bring these goals into full fruition,
the more they TUNE IN to the frequency of THIS page. At THIS frequency, it’d be hard NOT to end up here.

So, as I respond to more and more emails and Facebook messages about WOW, I am — very uncharacteristically — being drawn into thoughts about people who landed here, stayed a while and the Women Who WOW Way did NOT help them create the success they deserve.

Why didn’t it work….. for THEM?
Because SOME actually do the work,

So, here I am this morning,
diving deep into what these former Women Who WOW members have in common… not in an effort to change what **I** do, but in an effort to more clearly call out those I CAN help create HUGE shifts with… and also, send the others, elsewhere.

So, here’s what I came up with.

✅ IF YOU VIEW YOUR BUSINESS AS “JUST A BUSINESS” — separate from yourself — you will find The Women Who WOW way too vulnerable, too focused on developing YOU, too uncomfortable.

While we focus A LOT of leveraging your expertise and time AWAY from a “hour for dollar” exchange, truly successful women who WOW members have a DEEP SEEDED DESIRE / NEED to do more than that… to fully build their business around themselves. We don’t see business as “just” something we DO for money. We see it as an extension of our purpose, passion and skills. We see it as an outlet. We feel CALLED, purpose driven and RESPONSIBLE for bringing our goals to life.

But there are some who land here because we DO have solid trainings — and multiple swipe-able examples — of simple funnels, offers, and marketing suave than can bring (and has brought) in multiple six-figures on repeat. So, they come for the “hard core marketing stuff.”

To be transparent, they come because they are a reflection of an earlier version of me. I am STILL practical to a FAULT. I am ALL about the marketing and selling fundamentals, and it’s THESE principles that the REST of my business hangs upon, but…

if you have NO burning desire to infuse your offers, your pricing, your marketing and your selling with MORE of your OWN unique magic, you’ll tire of us quickly.

BUT, there are a ton of OTHER groups that will keep you constantly abreast on every single change the digital marketing gods make. There are other groups who can help you constantly tweak your headline or deliverables to create a 1% or 2% increase in conversion on your existing offer. I belong to a few of these groups myself, to keep my marketing edge SHARP AF.

But, I never allow the techniques
to eclipse my HEART and my MAGIC,
not in my message,
not in my offers,
not in anything.

So, if you aren’t PASSIONATE about building a business — and income, of course — entirely on your own terms, you may land here, but you won’t be a “lifer.”

✅ IF YOU RESIST THE REALITY OF CAUSE AND EFFECT, you may be frustrated here. There are some who will ACCEPT clients or patients when they come, but they will not ACCEPT their role as the CREATOR of clients. =)

And this is a big growth area.
Because when you see yourself as the CREATOR of your current circumstances, you don’t just get to bask in the glory of great times. =) You ALSO must accept that you’re responsible for the lean times as well.

Cause & Effect.
The effect is the goal.
The cause is YOU.

Like gravity, this is a universal truth…
When you embrace it, it works FOR you.
BUT if you deny it,
if you insist on seeing yourself as the EXCEPTION to this universal truth,
it will ALWAYS work against you.

So, if you are NOT seeing the EFFECT you want in business,
the Women Who WOW Way demands you look in the mirror (often through journaling) to ask yourself, what YOU can do to CAUSE that effect to come to life in your world!

Many resist this.
And they will tire of me asking them
“Given all that is going on, what are you willing to create?”

Related side note: I never accept invites to pity parties, because I LOVE our members. I will show up, =) but ONLY on the sidewalk. I will ALWAYS be there cheering YOU ON, reminding you of YOUR power to change your circumstances, but my RESPECT for you will not allow me inside the pity party itself. But, listen carefully. Over all of the placating and understanding and “don’t worry about it” within the pity party itself… you will hear my voice, woman. I’ll be the one reminding you of YOUR power, of YOUR potential. I will not stop cheering for you. But I will never exchange respect for pity.

✅ IF YOUR “PERSONAL PRIDE” IS OKAY WITH YOU BEING FULLY FINANCIALLY DEPENDENT ON SOMEONE — OR SOMETHING — ELSE, YOU MAY FIND WOW A BIT OF A CHORE.

I do hear from women who WANT to fully support themselves or their families with their purpose work. Independence is a cool goal and one they DO think about, but when it comes down to it…. when they look in the mirror, they’re truly OKAY being fully — or nearly — dependent.

If you are OKAY with that,
I am okay with that for you. =)
To each their own.

BUT I think you will find my whole “self-reliance” vibe an irritant to your underlying desire to be fully independent. And we ALL have that underlying desire.

Not all of us are willing to do what it takes,
NO MATTER what it takes
for AS LONG as it takes,
to make it happen, though.

So, that’s that.
These are the THREE “indicators” that The Women Who WOW Way may not be your long term, lifetime solution to being all the things, doing all the things, becoming ALL you were meant to be.

I went numb.
My son immediately started googling his diagnosis options and went instantly pale.
My (then) 6 foot son looked at me with pleading eyes…
his unspoken question, “MOM, am I going to be okay?”
All at the same time, I was:

💥 FURIOUS that a doctor would say these words in front of my child,
💥 Being painfully cognizant of my own reaction, because my son was watching me,
💥 Spinning… or maybe the room was spinning. I’m not sure which, but I lost my footing for sure.
💥 Focusing on the doctor who looked all of 15 years old and talked like a total “surfer dude” and wondering how THIS sort of conversation ends…

I have been in the “bad news room” in hospitals before, so I remember wondering why we weren’t taken to that room with the uncomfortable couches… and then, I asked calmly… with as much STEEL in my spine as I could muster:

“So, what’s next? What do we do from here?”

Somehow I drove to the Pediatric hospital and managed to get through the admissions process with some measure of efficiency… my inner world, ROCKED… My son in emotional turmoil and physical pain, which they would no longer treat until the diagnosis was made “official.”

These –by the way– are the moments you don’t really “talk through.” I couldn’t have put my thoughts into spoken form, and EVEN IF I COULD, I believe words have POWER… and so I would NOT have uttered what my mind was fearing, what my mind was processing.

The complete lack of pain relief for my son
went on for 3 DAYS and 2 LONG, DARK nights…
until the doctors had their answers.

BUT, I already had mine.
Somewhere once I got quiet and centered myself,
I went BACK to what I PERSONALLY knew to be true.

About my son.
About my God.
About health in general and our approach to it for his ENTIRE life.
About doctors.
About his symptoms.

Doctors can be wrong.
Tests can be wrong.
Diagnosis can be wrong.

And in this instance, I knew they were wrong.
And i KNEW it because once my world stopped spinning, i anchored myself to what I KNOW and BELIEVE.

This doesn’t mean there weren’t some really dark moments in the dead of night… when I was alone in that chair / bed… and fear popped in and gripped me by my chest so hard I forgot how to breathe. BUT… I kept returning…

to what i KNOW.
To what I BELIEVE.
To that which is always TRUE.

So, when the world was gripped by the fear of a virus,
forgive me for not participating.
Truly, I believe some people need to ACTUALLY forgive me for not sharing their same level of fear over the virus.
I sincerely hope some of you have forgiven me. I don’t want our varying approaches to this to get between us. I 100% believe your fear is valid for you… and I honor it.

It’s just that,
that sort of fear is not in me.
I cannot muster it.
I physically can not call it forth.
For me, that sort of thing literally doesn’t exist.

It’s not because I’m ignorant.
I’m VERY educated about health.
I’m also VERY anchored in my approach to health.
EVEN when the doctors,
even when MY doctors
disagree.

Now, when the world is reeling because the WHO or CDC
or their chosen doctors,
or the celebrated doctors
or the censored doctors …
are changing their approach,
or admitting they were wrong…
forgive me for not being confused or dismayed.

I never listened to them in the first place.
I never have.

PLUS, the whole thing about this situation… is that it was a “Novel” virus, right???? We WOULD expect people / scientists / doctors to find out MORE as they study it, to have new revelations, to have SOME theories proven true and some prove false. This is no hoax or conspiracy, guys. THIS is how science works. It’s what happens when NEW phenomenon is being studied.

So, when it comes to my business, or life, or country…
many wonder why I SEEM relatively “un-phased” by this, that or the other.

It is NOT that I don’t have dark nights of the soul,
I absolutely do.
Moments where I go numb, into resistance or even into RAGE.
Of course I do.
But I ALWAYS come back to my beliefs.

About myself.
About people.
About life.
About eternity.
About health.
About prosperity.
About the world and its cycles.

And RIGHT THERE
at the intersection
where my beliefs face my current circumstances,
is where fear is defeated for me,
and replaced with fervor.
Every
Single
Time.

So, do you STILL believe what you USED to post about on facebook? About accepting others? EVEN the ones who don’t think, act, vote, post, or worship like you? Do you STiLL believe in personal responsibility? Do you STILL believe that MOST people are good to their core? Do you STILL believe in your ability to CREATE your reality? Do you STILL believe in us all being connected at a cosmic level… about universal consciousness?

If so, woman… come back to it.
It’s THE anchor you’re looking for right now.
It doesn’t make the waves go away…
It doesn’t remove the need for you to steer the ship,
sometimes with MUSCLE & GRIT baby.

But it makes the ride more enjoyable
and the ship more stable…
for you and for others,
for the long haul.
