Not everyone is a good match and spending big money on a mentor is a big deal. You need to make sure that you are aligned with somebody’s values and way of doing business and that it all clicks. It’s such an intimate relationship. Just like you wouldn’t marry anyone, choosing the right mentor, or the right clients, or the friends that best support you and “get” you is essential.
Being picky or choosy or whatever you want to call it honors who you are and allows you to create what is
uniquely yours to share in this world- in your business, from your heart, with the people who will best appreciate it and with whom you are meant to serve. Taking the time to sort this out is better for everyone.

Maybe you should have called it something along the lines: Fabienne Frederickson turned me down but what a powerful lesson. Something that makes us want to read on without denigrating her.
Suppose I only read the first few paragraphs – the message I get is not to choose my clients wisely but what an impolite person Fabienne Frederickson is and I am sure that it totally not want you want us to think.
I do agree totally that you need ot choose clients wisely and have the courage to fire a client (a post I wrote on the same theme: http://snipurl.com/qdkm6)
