Dear Michelle,

I was one of the blessed DC women sitting in “the audience” LOVING your EVERY WORD! I must confess that I am a perfectionist and too often I’ve had the right “insignificants” mastered as opposed to having had the most RESULTS! I need MORE of you! : ) My husband used to say that I would be the one straightening the chairs on the Titanic! : ( Ah, well. You give me HOPE, that if I associate with you and other like-minded results’ getters, that I, too, can become results-oriented. : ) Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your time and talent with us!

I agree Jane, I am passionate about what I do and it comes through to those who are paying attention to the message. I think as women we are inherently perfectionista’s…LOL I have had to let go of some of that too.

Thanks, Michelle for this bit of wisdom. This is soooo freeing and makes so much sense. Wanting to be perfect at everything, speaking without any “ums” seemed to be an unreachable goal of mine. I have finally letting that goal go–and focusing instead on my message. You are right–passion shows through the “form.”
