Powerfully means “with energy and authority.” So, are you showing up POWERFULLY? (The answer to this question will reveal how profitable you’ll begin business. Period.)
Showing up POWERFULLY.
With energy.
AND
with AUTHORITY.
You need both.
FIRST, An energy that says,
I’M HERE, and CANNOT be IGNORED.
One of the things I have in common with Gary Vaynerchuk is the fact that whenever candid photos are taken of EITHER of us speaking, we look angry. 😊 I’ll never forget the first (and last) time I hired someone to take pictures of me on stage. I was wearing a white and grey SEAR SUCKER pant suit. (Honest to God, it looked good. lol… ) I felt amazing.
I walked on stage with SUCH confidence.
And then I saw the pictures.
Next, next, next… I kept flipping through for JUST ONE that may have captured me NOT looking like I was SCOLDING someone.
Not one.
My ENERGY isn’t the fun and silly and playful energy I see in other women leaders. I’m not that girl on vacation, I’m not that girl with my girl friends, I’m not that girl with Chris. I don’t believe I could pull off THAT “energy.” BUT…
but…
my ENERGY
is still one that says “I’m here and will not be ignored.”
Yes, my energy is more “intense” than playful,
but it is authentic.
So, what is the ENERGY with which you take the podium of your industry? Is it AUTHENTICALLY yours? Is it CERTAIN? Is it consistent? Is it passionate? Is it recognizable?

Moving on… once you have the ENERGY necessary to show up powerfully, it gets more complicated.
You see, you get to CHOOSE your energy.
It’s a decision. A commitment.
AUTHORITY, however,
requires influence,
it requires a certain REACTION from your market.
Authority is something that
(by the way)
is built,
deliberately
consistently
systematically
by showing up DAILY.
Authority requires that your market be able to TRUST you,
Authority requires that you THINK of your market before your bottom line,
Authority requires that you SHOW UP as a LEADER,
ready to impact and influence.
Authority requires you to take up the MANTLE of a leader.
So… are YOU showing up with authority?

Or do you put stock in your OWN words?

Are you showing up as someone CONFIDENT enough to lead? Or are you showing up timid? Unsure?
Because I can tell you that your market
is looking for someone they can TRUST
to help them with whatever it is you help them with.
they have been let down a lot.
they are looking for REAL solutions.
If you KNOW the answer, they WANT you to tell them.
with AUTHORITY and ENERGY
so that they TRUST you enough to take action.
