So I get YOUR boredom…. with me. š
And while I choked over — and I know WOW members would roll their eyes — every time I said āOPSPā (other peopleās stages and pages), I knew what I was teaching worked. I knew it because itās exactly what built my business. THEN and NOW. And itās what continues to build the businesses of those who listen and implement.
The truth is:
Most entrepreneurs donāt need a NEW message
or a new platform
or some new software or service.
They don’t NEED video even.
What they NEED is a commitment to repetition.
What they NEED is to stop chasing novelty instead of traction.
(Read that one again: TRACTION… over novelty.
DEEP roots that grow strong, over shiny objects.
TRACTION is built by repetition.)
So what ARE the five things I keep saying?
1. Syndication > Social
Other peopleās audiences. Other peopleās platforms. Other peopleās distribution channels.
THATāS where the BEST leads are.
Iāve said it a thousand times: you donāt need to create more content ā you need to take responsibility for the content you create and ENSURE it’s seen by the right audience. This is NOT placing it on FB and hoping Zuckerberg’s bots show it to people.. This is YOU, showcasing YOUR work on stages where you are a WELCOME guest and not an annoying (or even entertaining) pest or distraction.
Guest features. Podcast interviews. Newsletter swaps. Industry journals. Anywhere people are already ACTIVELY paying attention.
This is not new.
Itās not sexy.
But it works. Every time.
2. Positioning Matters More Than Simple Presence.
I donāt care how clever your carousel is or how funny your trending audio was. If youāre shimmying for likes but not building trust ā youāre just adding to the noise.
And noise doesnāt sell. It repels. It SLOWS sales. It DISTRACTS from sales.
Positioning is probably my most natural expertise. I’ve instinctively always positioned myself as a leader. In the room with other leaders.
Positioning — DELIBERATE, INTENTIONAL positioning of yourself as THE BEST choice for a specific market —
is what separates experts from entertainers, those with gravitas and those who grovel, those who compete on price and those that know they HAVE no real competition.
Itās the gravitas that makes people lean in and say, āSheās the one.ā
3. Consistency Is the Compound Interest of Business
The message doesnāt need to change.
The rhythm does.
Repetition builds recognition.
Recognition builds trust.
Trust builds sales.
And when you’re FINALLY tired of — and bored with– your own message, thatās when itās finally starting to land. š
Keep showing up.
Keep serving up the truth in your own authentic voice.
Keep repackaging what your people need to hear ā until it clicks.
And THEN… say it again. š
4. Have an Offer SO GOOD Youād Think Less of Them If They Turned It Down
I say this all the time: If your offer doesnāt feel like a āHELL YESā to you⦠it wonāt be one for them either.
You should feel a bit sorry for someone who says no. Not because youāre arrogant, but because your offer is that good.
That valuable. That effective. That clear.
If your offerās not converting, itās probably not your content, or your industry or your market.
It could VERY WELL be your offer. Fix it.
5. Stay Lean & Keep Control
I donāt build businesses that rely on ads.
Or algorithms.
Or affiliate armies taking my profit.
Or ANY thing that I don’t control.
I build lean.
Low overhead. Low dependency.
High ownership. High margins.
I keep control over the levers that drive revenue.
Period.
Don’t get stuck building houses on sand ā hoping Meta doesnāt change the rules again next week.
Instead spend your time building SOLID infrastructure ā with a message you KNOW is true, an offer you LOVE and strategies that work no matter what the tech gods decide.
For me…
boring or not…
Iām going to say the same five things.
On repeat.
And Iāll keep saying them until they sink in.
