SO YOU WANT THEM LINING UP? CREDIT CARD IN HAND, READY TO BUY FROM YOU?

Part of selling every day,
of course,
involves having people to sell to.
Having a list,
prospects.
One of the most frustrating things I hear from business owners “new” to Women Who WOW is how they are doing this, that and the other in order to “get their name out there.”
Facebook ads.
Blogging.
Networking.
Billboards.
Whatever.
It’s not that ANY of these things are wrong,
although I must admit I think networking totally sucks. =)
It’s that the FOCUS is all wrong.
Getting “your name out there” is a fool’s game. An EXPENSIVE game you can’t win…
and wouldn’t KNOW if you won even if you did.
I mean, how would you KNOW when you got your name “out there” ENOUGH?
INSTEAD, you want your clients “in here,”
where you get paid.
You want them lining up,
credit card in hand,
ready to say YES to whatever you THINK UP next to sell.
And this CAN and DOES happen.
It can happen MUCH QUICKER than you think.
But you MUST focus on building DEMAND for YOUR work.
Not just DEMAND for what you sell.
But demand for the WAY you SELL IT.
Demand for YOU.
A PREFERENCE for you,
your voice,
your bedside manner,
your analogies,
your perspective.
This is SOOO do-able. I’ll share with you the how — below — but I also LIVE the how. In public.
I don’t do anything “hidden” or secret. There’s nothing I’m doing to grow this business… nothing I’ve done that got YOUR attention… that can’t be SEEN strictly by observing what I do every day.
I show up DAILY.
With paid content for members,
and free content.
My “showing up” is incredibly vulnerable, bold and holds nothing back. It’s authentic.
I show up to SERVE with the message.
(The message empowers, encourages and equips those who read it.)
But I also show up to SELL. (I.e. Join Women Who WOW already… You know you want to. You know we’re the COOLEST club on the internet. You KNOW our members are breaking past income barriers previously thought a ‘big deal” for women entrepreneurs. Just message me for details.
But also, I do things.
Things to be SURE I am seen.
Seen as “in demand” by people who already know me,
Seen for the first time by people who SHOULD know me, or my brand.
2 quick examples:
I’ve spoken on the stage with BIG BIG NAMES. (Power of association.)
I’ve been on the BIG BIG media outlets. (Power of credibility.) P.S. NOTHING creates a line to your door like national media. Your competitors don’t have it. And you COULD. You SHOULD actually. Commercial message: I’m gathering the Who’s WHO of national media in ONE room, to get up close and personal with 20 business owners, and there’s STILL room to get in.
I’m not talking “small time” players at big name outlets.
I’m talking THE decision makers.
THE people in charge of finding stories.

My point is that these things are orchestrated,
deliberate, and I do them because others AREN’T doing them… I stand out because I’m doing what OTHERS of my ilk aren’t willing to do.
