It’s been a minute since I told the story of how and why I built Women Who WOW (now called WOWx). But it’s more important today than it was then. PART of the story is — yes — I looked around the options for women entrepreneurs (the serious ones) and found NOTHING for us. Plenty of silly hearted “clubs” where we could talk about our power colors and network and make friends.. but nothing hard core, nothing steeped in PROVEN success strategy.
So I created that.
I mean if you WANT to keep playing in that sandbox with women who aren’t serious about growing their business, making friends but no real PROGRESS, and the success bit doesn’t matter to you… no sweat. You do you.
BUT for those of us who either NEEDED financial success (raising my hand high here!) or who had a chip on their shoulder with something to prove… we needed something MORE than a friendship circle promising the random referral and monthly guest speaker.
Women Who WOW was born. Within 6 months, we had members from 8 different states joining us. The SERIOUSLY driven mastermind for women was FINALLY here. And I loved every minute of it. All of this is true about how wOW was born.
BUT also… I built Women Who WOW
to end the most damaging part
of one of the most EMPOWERING things a woman can do:
bet on herself, financially,
by starting her own business:
The chase.
The begging.
The endless convincing.
The reducing our rate.
The wondering… if I’m so great at what I do… WHY aren’t people signing up?
The self-doubt: WHAT is wrong with ME?
Because when you FIRST open your doors, the applause is loud. Everyone thinks it’s a great idea. They cheer you on. BUT once that applause and grand opening visibility subsides, THAT is where SOLID strategy makes the difference between chasing and bartering and begging for every client or patient… OR having them come to you.
Pivoting, proving, performing and persuading…

With this “choice,” WOW has always been a REALLY easy sell. 😊
13 years of doing ONLY this.
Marketing, Mental Toughness and Sales Strategy.
And I have loved every minute of it.
Recently, I have made the first and only shift to WOW,
even a SLIGHT rebrand to WOWx…
WHY???
Because I wanted to simplify my own success path. I wanted to make it even MORE paint-by-number. I wanted to REMOVE and REPLACE the soul-sucking way others are saying you have to build a multi-six and seven-figure (per year) business.
I NEEDED to see a shift in what was taught to women…
and I NEEDED to show how simple it can be.
I need to DELIVER quick wins that were TOO SIMPLE to over-complicate.
So, I stripped it all back,
to give women entrepreneurs their power back.
Their PROFIT Power.
True power is quiet.
It’s magnetic.
It makes people come to you.
When I built WOW, I wanted women to know what it felt like to reverse the flow — to stop chasing and start claiming.
To build visibility that pulls, so they didn’t need to push so hard….
To create systems that MANUFACTURE attention ON DEMAND without manipulation or desperation.
EVERYTHING I taught in WOW still applies.
BUT it’s now BAKED into ONE concept that changes everything: Surround-sound visibility.
