But it’s also not everyone.
A GOOD percentage of us are profiting wildly right now. Online AND off. Trades businesses, skyrocketing. Higher end restaurants, even. Attorneys. Therapists. Industry-specific experts / memberships.
GRANTED, EVERYONE who is still relying on social media + ads + funnels to sell HIGH PRICED, LOW TOUCH digital programs… will continue to struggle as they hope (in vain) that the market returns to the market they so easily dominated with technical savvy.
But the MARKET is savvy now.
Even the civilians, or non-entrepreneurs.
They know the difference between live and pretending to be live. They know when you’re fishing for likes and comments and when you’re genuinely curious. They know when you’re using ChatGPT to draft a letter because you can’t be bothered to write one yourself.
There is a SHIFT in the MARKET’S RESPONSE to our entrepreneurial tech tools. Even if they do not SAY IT, they are naturally gravitating towards HUMAN marketing…
You know,
human to human,
not bot to human to bot to funnel to whatever.
There is a MAGNETIC pull towards you when you ACTUALLY show up, not schedule, pre-record, and PRETEND to show up.
There is a MAGNETIC attraction to the brands that are taking the time to ACTUALLY write to their people, you know… as if they are WORTH your time.
There is an AWARENESS of and APPRECIATION for the person to person marketing.

and NO, I’m not saying don’t use funnels or even bots. Use ’em if you want. BUT I AM saying use them with integrity… (I.e. go ahead and admit it’s a replay. I LOVE a replay because I get to watch it on my own time.) And I AM saying

NOT
RELY
ON
THEM.
A business bottom line reliant on the whims of a social media platform and / or ad algorithms that change on a dime…. is a DANGEROUSLY fragile business.
