In Day One of my 14-day coaching container, AWAKEN, I walked members through an exercise to catch the beat of the success they REALLY want to create in business.
I’m in a mastermind (which I love) where most people are focused on HIRING and creating BIGGER business through bringing in an operations manager or a sales person. I have no such desire. I love my MICRO business, my INDIE business. 
And in case you were wondering and do not yet know, the BOTTOM LINE (profit / income to the business owner) in a $2.4M biz or a $1.3M biz is VERY SIMILAR to the micro-biz generating $600K annually. The day to day is very different. The bottom line, i.e. what YOU get to spend and invest and live off of: nearly the same.
This does not make them wrong and me right.
It’s just that what I WANT is different.
Our goals of what we want,
what we want our DAYS to look like,
how much “management” we’re willing to do,
these things are just different.
You will never hit a target you cannot see,
and with the CONSTANT barrage of advice here on social media,
it’s EASY to be lured away from your ideal, perfect-for-you path in favor of something that is popular and seductive and also complicated and expensive and hard.
The risk isn’t REALLY that you don’t succeed,
although many won’t,
for reasons I’ll detail below,
the REAL risk,
the SCARY risk,
is that you’l find yourself ankle-chained to a success you don’t like, a success that robs you of all you hold dear, a success that costs you too much.
There is a huge push towards “authenticity” in marketing today. But this bEGINS with authentic design.
INTENTIONAL DESIGN
of YOUR business
that is UNIQUE and AUTHENTIC
to YOU,
to how you want to live your life.
Too few skip this step,
and they wonder why they keep having to restart and regroup and reconfigure and rehire and rework EVERYTHING.
Guys, if you do not build your business to SUIT you,
if it is NOT a custom build,
it WILL feel hard.
It WILL lead to burn out.
And it is JUST as EASY
easier really
to build a business that is a PERFECT fit,
than to try to function and live and find joy and success in something that is clunky and heavy for you.

Woman, forget what everyone is telling you about business. Forget what I am telling you about business and just answer this question:
How do I WISH my business worked?
How do I WISH my clients found me?
What do I wish they paid me for?
Who do I WISH were my clients? What do they value? want? prioritize?
A SHOCKINGLY low number of business owners START here and build out? The start with what they THINK sells, and how OTHER people are selling it and go from there.
DESIGN matters.
And your business
ANY business
can run on ANY fuel you want.
It can function in ANY way you desire, but you MUST build it that way.
Yes, it takes time, but we don’t have to burn it all down and start over. Just start with your vision. From there, I can help you CURATE your present reality to match. I promise.
