I saw an email recently from Russell Brunson (a list email, obviously) that defined the $20 that changed everything for him. I thought it might have been a Dan Kennedy Marketing book, but it wasn’t. He was referring to his FIRST sale, which was $20.
I can relate. While I was hustling too fast to remember my ACTUAL first sale 😊 I DO remember the moments that money started flowing in because I had INVITED someone to work with me.
1️⃣ Your first sale is DEFINITELY a before / after moment.
It SHOULD remind you that people want what you have… that first sale wasn’t “some sucker,” but a smart consumer who immediately wanted what you were selling. And MORE are out there just like him or her.
But there are two more “moments” in business that change everything:

“Big” is defined differently for everyone. (Note: I am the QUEEN of “That’s what she / he said “jokes, so OF COURSE this is the commentary in my head.) But seriously… for some people a big month is $400K or $1M.
For MOST people though, a HUGE month can be anything from $8500 to $40K. Maybe your “big” month would be $5K. The number doesn’t matter, but the first time you hit the number that is big in your mind… is HUGE. It changes the game. It changes how you show up.
I remember one day sharing how I had made more in ONE MONTH than I had in an entire year of working as a social worker. I made about $27K as a social worker.
But that was a HUGE number. So when I hit it, it shifted a few things in all the right ways.
